So this episode focus on BMO and we dive a little bit into his past. I found it to be a good episode, not as entertaining and a little bit boring at time. But these character building episodes are rather good for a show such as Adventure Time. I have slowly been noticing that the episodes aren’t as action pact or as deep as they use to be. This could be due to the fact they’ve lost some writers to other projects.
In Be More, Finn and Jake have to take BMO to where he was created so he wont malfunction and die. To do this, the duo have to disguise themselves as MOs. Which is pretty funny seeing Finn walk around with BMO on his head with no arms, walking into everything. Finn and Jake need to get the drivers which we find out to be in windows .exe format.
The episode itself is pretty strange, we get to see some details about BMO, the MO factory where he was born and the creator and the fact that BMO was created to understand fun. Which explains how strange and weird the little guy can be. This episode also learn up a whole lot of rumors going around about who BMO was and his background. I’ve read some pretty funny ones. In the end, BMO truly is a piece of technology.
There isn’t too much to say about the episode, its average at best but you can’t fault it for it because it does have deeper meaning, such it gives us just a bit more depth to The Great Mushroom War indirectly and only by proving that BMO was not a result of it. While it could still stand that BMO was created after The Great Mushroom War as a way to bring fun back into the world. There are some good laughs, weird moments and the animation is always pretty solid.
