With all the work I put into the last patch update, especially setting up the variables and handling most of it inside WordPress itself, changing the colors was actually a lot easier than it would have been before. I did not have to go back and rework every page from scratch just to make things fit.

Now granted, there were still a few things that needed fixing. Some of the headers did not work well with black text over a black overlay, but that was an easy fix.

I also reformatted a few things across the site. One of the bigger changes is that the Watch page is no longer just for reactions. I merged toy videos, unboxings, music videos, and reactions into the same section. So now, for example, choosing the Super Sentai tab will show all Super Sentai-related videos, including reactions, time-based reactions, edited reactions, extended cuts, unboxings, and toy reviews.

I also went through and simplified the menu and the overall navigation. I was never fully happy with the side menu. I remember finding a very minimalist website back around 2012, and that style always stuck with me. So I tried to move the site a little more in that direction while still keeping a lot of the same Majin Planet elements.

The homepage got a full rework, and honestly, I think it works a lot better now. The footer was also cleaned up because I felt like it had become too much. No pages were removed, though. Everything is still there, just organized a bit better.

If you found your way here from the Start Here page, that has also been shifted more into a proper landing page instead of feeling like just another regular part of the site.

You can still get to the old Music Video section, and I will be adding a Music Video tab to the Watch page soon as well.

Overall, the site loads faster, feels cleaner, and I think it works better on mobile now.

Because of all this, I haven't been able to produce new content the way I normally do. Majin Planet turns twenty six this weekend, and unfortunately everything I hoped to release for the occasion had to be put on hold. I’ve kept notes on my phone, but that’s been about the limit of what I could manage.

Now that I’m feeling a bit better, I want to share what’s coming next. Consider this Patch Note 26.1.1 for MajinPlanet.com.

Ultraman Arc
The entire series is recorded. I’ll spend the rest of the month fixing edits and posting episodes twice a week on the site. YouTube versions will continue to release Monday mornings on Majin Planet Reacts.

Majin Planet TV
The channel is moving away from traditional toy reviews. The last of the reviews I recorded will be released over the next week. Going forward the focus shifts to discussion based content about toys and shows. Expect weekly Prime Talk, weekly Prime Toys, and a new weekly series called Toku Heroes.

The reason is simple. I’m not collecting as heavily anymore and I can’t review everything. I also won’t accept toys from viewers for review. The risks, the shipping, and the responsibility aren’t worth it. Many toy lines in my collection are coming to a close anyway, and honestly the standard review format isn’t where my strengths are. I still have a lot to say about toys, just not in the usual review style.

Prime Talk
This remains a Transformers focused discussion series. No major changes.

Prime Toys
This will be a hybrid unboxing and shelf discussion format. Either I’ll be opening something new or pulling a figure off the shelf to talk about its place in my collection, why I bought it, how it’s held up, and whether I would replace it if a better version came along. No recommendation scores, just honest reflection.

Toku Heroes
A new series combining elements of Prime Talk and Prime Toys. It will cover toys and topics across Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, and Metal Heroes. Prime News will be folded into this.

The Majin Cast
Returns to weekly episodes next week with a refined format. New episodes will release mid week going forward.

Majin Planet Shorts Channel
A full rebrand is coming. The focus will be toy themed shorts, including transformation walkthroughs and fun clips. Expect three shorts per week.

Marvel Beyond TV
What started as an experiment in AI video production is shifting to a monthly, podcast style Marvel discussion series. I’ll be doing these myself rather than relying on AI tools as I did years ago.

New Content: Hunter Mastery
In 2026 I’ll be returning to my old gold making and hunter content from the HunterMastery.com days. Expect weekly videos and written content under the Hunter Mastery name here on MajinPlanet.com. The old domain will redirect to a new landing page soon.

I’m still recovering and won’t be back to full work until next week. Content will be lighter until I’m cleared. I also plan to begin streaming twice a week, one stream on Twitch focused on World of Warcraft and one stream on YouTube where I’ll be building or working with toys. Start dates depend on how fast my back heals.

I wanted to give you all a quick update regarding the Majin Planet Fight Club. After reviewing everything and how busy the end of the year is looking, I’ve decided to move the event to 2026.

There just isn’t enough time left in 2025 to promote it properly and get enough creators involved the way I want. The Fight Club deserves the full spotlight, and I’d rather give everyone plenty of time to plan, edit, and make something truly awesome than rush it.

That said, this December we’ll still be celebrating Majin Planet’s 26th Anniversary on December 13th, 2025. I’ll be posting some special anniversary content and a few surprises leading up to it.

I'm planning on starting with just one series for now, granted we have a lot of shows already covered, and I'll keep putting those shows out, three versions: Time-based, Uncut, and Edited as I'm able to do it. I won't do Uncut for everything, just select shows. All movies will 100% be time-based and will never have an uncut version. This is for legal reasons, of course. I am doing more time-based reactions, but in some older videos, I didn't record them in a way to do that, so they are uncut.

Also, I'm being more active on here to try and grow this community again. I'll be using this as 100% posting news and updates on what's going on with Majin Planet. I have a few more movie reviews set to release, but I'm gonna be looking into focusing on one topic to write about for a while. I am just focusing on writing Dragon Ball content for a bit. I am also going to start working on doing a music video again. No ETA, but I do have an older one I wanna mess around with and will post. Music Videos will always be free to watch. You just need to sign up.

I am also doing daily podcasts with Majin Cast and moving Prime talk to a more monthly format. Weekly may be too much. I am going to be doing some side projects. Once a week will be releasing a Marvel video on the Marvel Beyond TV channel.

For Two Fat Guys at the movies, I have not really given any thought yet on it. To be honest, I don't know if the effort for the format was worth it. If you guys want us to keep doing it, let me know. Otherwise, I may sunset that podcast for now.

Last thing, I'm going to be working on some new features for Majin Planet and bringing back some old stuff. I got something in the works for Majin Wars, AMV RAW, and Graphic Wars. I will also be launching King of the Hill in 2026. I may push Fight Club to 2026 as it's getting really close with no signups. I wonder if people are simply not aware of it? That is my fault for not pushing it.

I'm gonna work on bringing the DBZ Quiz back, as well as setting up a Game center, just some of my old games I used to make on XfireSystems from back in the day. I have to see if they will work in today's browsers, given that I made them way back in 2002.
