There has never been a time to be a Dragon Ball fan, not only has Dragon Ball return to TV and DVD but also to the gaming world. While Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 didn’t really rock the world. At least my world, trust me I’ve played a few games here and there. Playing the MMO/RPG game for myself was sort of boring. Maybe that just comes to my World of Warcraft days and it makes it very hard for me to even jump into any new MMO/RPG games. Heck, I haven’t personally enjoyed a Dragon Ball Z fighting game since the PS2.
Dragon Ball FighterZ Changes it All
Call me crazy, I wasn’t sure at the time if I should, but I dropped 150 bucks on the now no longer available collectors version of Dragon Ball FighterZ for Xbox One. I am sure many of you will get the PS4 version, which honestly would prefer but I have an Xbox. Sure I could have and should have done the PC version. Not only am I getting two unlocked characters on release, but I’m also getting some other awesome stuff! There is, of course, the collector’s box, the art book and the 7 inch Goku figure that comes with it.
To be honest, over the last year I’ve been slowly trying to find my place again. There used to be a time when I wrote something daily on here, the level of my content while good was too random. Granted, this website will feature Dragon Ball content now, a few older posts still exist because they are just great articles and I haven’t found a place for it. That is where Dragon Ball FighterZ comes in.
There is going to be a lot of cool stuff I’m going to be doing with the game. I’m hoping I enjoy it, I feel like I will. From the trailers, the content I’ve seen it just looks awesome. I wished I had been able to get access to the Beta that they had. But to be honest, I think it’s a good thing I didn’t. In the past, I’ve been given beta access to games and I end up losing interest in the game once it’s official release.
Will I stream it?
Yes, in fact, the game for me will be sent to my house December 31st, 2017. Lucky me, I’ll be off those days so I’ll be playing. That is as long as I’m allowed to play. The reason is that the official release date is January 26, 2018. While I work the date of release, I would guess that I’ll still get my copy on the date that Amazon states it’ll be shipped.
Likely will be an early access to those who pre-ordered the game online. Such as those who picked up the CollectorZ as well if you pre-ordered the Digital version of the game. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Until now, check out the trailer for the game below. I’m really thrilled and will be talking a bit more about the game in the coming week.
