I started creating music videos because of this site, because of the legacy that Majin Mebs started and the inspiration he gave to me; and I kept doing it because Corrupted Avatar use to like to piss me off on a daily basis until I finnaly maid something good. Here you will find my videos starting from my first video under the Majin Planet label to my new videos under the banner of Cryptic Aura Studios. The same things that applied yesterday still apply today, the same things I strove for in the early days of Majin Planet I still strive for today. As you watch the videos please be sure to keep your mind open. Each video is unique to itself, if you don't like one video that dosn't mean you wont enjoy a different video.

| The 10 Star Fan Rating System
|
The Music Videos subjected to Majin Planet are rated by the fans and the fans alone. Long ago we gave up on the idea of rating our own videos, due to the fact that we as Music Video creators see our videos in a much different light then the average AMV fan. With each new video released we put up a poll with choises between 1 - 10 stars, 1 being the worst, 10 being the best, and for the next 2 months there after we let the fans vote away. At the end of 2 months the poll is taken down and the appropirate amount of stars are put in its place.
Majin Planet believes its rating system is accurate and to the point. However, in some cases a movie may show particular excellence in a specific area, an aspect that we believed needed some attention. The following awards are to show the user that this movie shows OUTSTANDING usage in the following areas.

| A Perfect Circle "Lullaby"

Basic story behind the video is as follows. A woman is inlove with two completly different men, both men have done things to harm the other and both want the woman, the woman is forced to choose. She chooses the hero of our story, Kenshin. Yay for Kenshin. They are inlove, finnaly happy and can be together; however Kenshin is forced to fight for his woman, fight to be able to have her, fight to hold on, and in a strange twist of fate he inevitably ends up killing the one he loves.
I wanted the video to seem more like a memory, maybe like a dream. Kenshin dreams on, remembering his lost love. Remembering at first the love triangle they met in, how he eventualy won her heart, and then due to a tragic twist of fate he killed her. The first half the of the video I was just trying to explain the love triangle that was going on. However the second half I wanted it to seem more as though Kenshin was looking back.
I spent a little bit more then a week on this video, not a hole lot of time but the song was relativly short. However due to the type of song it was before I even finished up I was already finding myself bored of the video, so if I would of spent more then a week on this it would of inevitably found itself in my recyle bin. I tried a few simple effects, nothing to fancy just cutting out some clips, using transparancy and motion, blah blah. I dont think it came out looking too bad however Im not honestly happy with the final result either.

Not realy a video maid for the point of making some kind of great outstanding video that'll get ya thinking. Just maid for the point of making it. Sakura Con is coming up and I want to be in it like I was last year, but I figured I needed some practice first before I got to making my entry for the contest. So I found a nice short song, and got to work. So this is my ( practice video). I might make another one like this before actualy starting on my Sakura Con entry. Anyways, more or less just a quick fun video. Watch it if your bored.

| Cold Play "Don't Panic"

My first video of 2005, and released on Valentines day of all things 0_o suppose its somewhat fitting considering the genre of video it is. Ever since my last video releas back in June of 2004 I have been working on a few projects. I've maid one or two video trailers, my track for the Tool Project colab, as well as starting a few other videos. Up until now though I have deleted all the videos I've started because they haven't been going the way I wanted them too. Well, I wanted to make a Sailor Moon video for my girlfreind, because well... she likes Sailor Moon. Orriginaly though it was going to be a Sailor Jupiter video ( her favorite character of the series ) but due to lack of a fitting song it didn't work out that way. So I found a song that I liked and had her pick what season of Sailor Moon I should do a video to. I went to get the clips, and while listening the song I noticed some potential in the hole Serena/Darien relationship so I decided to make that my theme.

There are some times when you here a song and instantly a video for it just plays out in your head. I was bored and watching tv and I had just finished watching the trailer for the Spiderman 2 movie. I heard the song and instantly just saw Serena "Sailor Moon" in my mind. Now making a sailor moon video wasn't exactly my first choise in music videos, infact I don't even like the song, but it had been so long since I had heard a song and instantly thought of a video that I couldn't just ignor it. So I ripped my sailor moon dvds and created the video. I tried out a few different effects in this vid, some turned out okay, some sucked, infact the video isn't exactly the best theme wise either, but overall I think it turned out pretty decent.

| System of a Down "Shimmy"

My very first Naruto music video to my favorite character from the anime, Kakashi. I had orriginaly started creating this video for the music video contest over at DBZ Saiyan Chronicles. I spent days searching threw songs and ideas and finnaly landed on this one. The thing that stuck out to me were the lyrics "dont be late for school again," they seemed absolutly perfect for Kakashi being as how hes always late. Some of my freinds doubted I could pull off a decent Naruto video to a System of a Down song but after seeing the final version they all changed there minds about that. I'm happy with this video in some ways but disapointed in others; I feel it could of turned out better then how it did so theres a chance it might be re-maid one day in the future. For know though its a quick, short, fun to watch Kakashi video. Keep an open mind, and enjoy!

Join me now as we take a walk down memory lane with a look at Vegetas life. Opening with a few classic sceens reminding you of where it all began, Vegetas lost to Goku. The move into the video and see Vegeta's recollection of past events. See how the events of this meeting between he and Goku play out, slowly chaging him. Watch as he accends to new levels after slowly begining to adopt the life of a family man. Then move on the classic end, where Vegeta has changed completly, now good, and gives the ultimant sacrifice for the ones he loves. Keep an open mind, and enjoy.

After making DBZ music videos for years I figured it was time for a slight change of pase, see how I can do when it comes to music video creation with other animes. Now don't get me wrong, I am in no way what-so-ever quiting DBZ MV creation, I'm just taking a little break from it. I went threw about 4 differnt ideas for what should or could be my first non-dbz mv, every idea just seemed to suck. Then one day my freind was playing his P.O.D cd at my house and I heard this song and INSTANTLY I started thinking about the movie Samurai X: Reflection. I spent about 2 and a half weeks on this video, yes I admit there were some parts I could of done better and I am in no way saiying this is the best video, but I do think I did a pretty decent job for my first time out of the DBZ box. It was alittle difficult using non-dbz footage though, I'm not sure why, it could just be because I have been working with DBZ for so long. In any case this vide is deffinitly worth a look, as always I ask you to keep an open mind and enjoy.

This video is about the fight between Piccolo and Android 17. The song dosn't have much to do with the theme, it was just a little action video. This video didn't turn out the way I wanted do to the fact that I was rushing threw it in order to get it done by Christmas do to the fact that I wanted to release a video on Christmas for the Majin Planet fans. If you love Piccolo or this fight in paticular you should enjoy this video. Keep in mind that its not my best work but its still decent.

A video about the events leading up to Buu's arrival. Though this music video is pure action there are some lyrical meanings behind it so keep an eye out for them. Also, unlike my last video I didn't not use a singel flash or inver to get myself back into the habbit of using regular timing. This video is a short video though it is still pretty good. As always, I ask you to keep an open mind, and to enjoy.

Well after my failure with the last Merciless Future music video I decided I would try to re-do it; but now I'm thinking that wasn't such a good idea. There are some videos you just plane dont ever want to watch and I would have to say this is one of them. So why is it up? Well I figure I might as well put it up to give thoughs people who dont like me an actual reason :-P
Basicly though, this video is about Trunks stuggle growing up. How everything is falling apart, he watchs people suffer, the world he is in destroyed, his best freind Gohan die, and regardless of how much he tries he is unable to beat the Androids. I belived World So Cold by Mudvyane to be a good song for this but now that its done I realize a lot of people would get the point of the vidoe threw this song. Even though this video is edited horribly it did help me understand a few things about my video editing skills along the lines of what I need to work on, What I need to stop doing "damn flashes" and things of that sort. Expect my new video to be better then this peice of trash.

Bah, this video realy didn't turn out the way I hoped. I have been paning out this video for about 6 months but never had the clips to do it. Finnaly I got the History of Trunks tape and set to work. I guess I'm still a bit rusty from my break from videos durring the school year because this video turned out like shit. The timing was ok but the video was more cut up the anything. I think I might try to re-do this video to give you all something better to watch.
As for the song, the song lyrical wise has nothing to do with the video, it just sounded dark so I used it. Seemed like a good idea at the time but now that I'm a more expericed editor I realize how stupid I was. Some people enjoy this video, some people dont. Whatever the case is, keep an open mind, and enjoy.

It's been almost 6 months since I created my last music video "that's not including my failure with my Piccolo mvid." So I asked a lot of my friends with theme I should do, to my surprise about 90% of them basically demanded to see a Gohan music video. So I found a song, gathered the clips and 10 hours and 30 minutes later I was done. My little tribute to Gohan's life, I hope all my friends who suggested it and all the Gohan fans out there aren't let down.
