Welcome to my AMV's, here is where all my work is produced and given to the public to watch, review, and enjoy. I enjoy making unique, and well-thought up videos that many people may not have thought up already. I've been watching AMV's for about 6 years now, thanks to Temple O' Trunks, and actually I never even thought of making AMV's of my own until just last year recently, after my friend KingDavid began making his own just a few months before. Anyway I gotta say honestly that I'm pretty impressed and like how my first few videos are turning out and really love my later videos, I mostly make vids of where I wanna prove a point, what nobody ever thought of, or tributes to AMV's I've seen a long while back and never got to see again. As you can notice obviously I sort of have a passion for DBZ and I make a lot of it, I know it's pretty unoriginal by now but that's where my ideas come in. I don't just use random songs and put it with DBZ just because I like the song otherwise it makes no sense to the video thus NOT making a good AMV. Though I do try and plan on making more diverse AMV's with different anime, just until I'm finished with what potential DBZ still has to give. I don't really have much to say about myself, just enjoy my videos, opinions are greatly appreciated and would be sorta grateful to leave tips and such, and just the support of you watching them is truly thankful. | The 10 Star Fan Rating System

The Music Videos subjected to Majin Planet are rated by the fans and the fans alone. Long ago we gave up on the idea of rating our own videos, due to the fact that we as Music Video creators see our videos in a much different light then the average AMV fan. With each new video released we put up a poll with choises between 1 - 10 stars, 1 being the worst, 10 being the best, and for the next 2 months there after we let the fans vote away. At the end of 2 months the poll is taken down and the appropirate amount of stars are put in its place.
Majin Planet believes its rating system is accurate and to the point. However, in some cases a movie may show particular excellence in a specific area, an aspect that we believed needed some attention. The following awards are to show the user that this movie shows OUTSTANDING usage in the following areas.

I found this to be very easy and beneficial once I had obtained every single episode I ever wanted of DBZ, and only after watching FraChan's video so many times that I knew what to put here and there. Since I had a feeling it would take me much longer to do this sort of video, I actually started making this video before the first tribute, and also wanted to get this in before the Majin Planet Fight Club 2006 started, so I did this right away. It wasn't very hard to make from time to time, in fact the only true difficulties about this video was maybe around the beginning and middle of the video when I couldn't think about the sort of footage to show, as well as not duplicate clips I already used in the first video. Relatively it didn't so long, only about a week and a half or so in editor's time. But I guess I should say it wasn't very hard, since I'm practically duplicating FraChan's video, but please know it was all for the good. I respect him and like his videos so much and I want to spread my own thoughts out, I know the androids can be the same as the Homunculi.

Now besides the 10 months ago when I first made the beta, this actually took me a short amount of a week and a half to make in editing hours. 3 weeks if you wanna count my laziness. The video is pretty straight-forward though, not a lot of fancy effects at all and basically going with every single beat heard in the video. It was also very fortunate of the amount of DBZ footage I actually own, which made this all the more better. Despite the fact that I absolutely hate DragonBall GT, I just needed something extra with it, and I was actually limited with clips to use since this is also part one of a two-part tribute I'm doing with this. Only problem I might have had on this video was what sort of random fights should I put in order, but turned out all good anyway.

As simple as this video would look it only took me a decent amount of time to make it considering how slow the song is, and I mean VERY slow. I would say a good 30 hours worth of editing in a 3 week time span. (If you think that's long for a simple video like this, it's because I was either lazy or preocuppied, but you should know how that is) There were certain times in this video, that it was such a bitch to correct. There were orphan frames and flashes of scenes that are not supposed to be in the clips I'm using to make it so it was very frustrating, and annoying. The rendering was ridiculously long as well, but that's mostly due to because about a good 90% of this video was made out of 2 effects only.

Now surprisingly, for a video like this, it actually only took me 2 days to actually complete it. But I couldn't actually make it during the day because I seemingly had my hands full and was everywhere at once and couldn't get to it, so basically in editing hours, took me just an estimated 8 hours to edit this piece. My second fastest making AMV next to Vegeta's Self Indulgence. But that doesn't mean it wasn't a pain in the ass to make. At first, the lip syncing I had done to this didn't seem all too bad in the program I was using. But once I take a look at it after exporting it and compressing it, the lip syncs were off, and on and off on and off I had to keep going back and fix those tiny errors. Even when I think it's great, few people saw some errors, so one last time I went and fixed the fram or two that was off. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the compressing was even more of a pain. It was easy for my last video but I wanted to make this a decent file size and still keep it's quality since it's a short video, but eh, nobody's perfect. I was hoping to get at least a little over 30 MB. But each time I compressed I kept getting bigger sizes and some pixels from what I can see.

It was July 28th of the year 2005 when I last uploaded a video, (July 17th if you wanna count last DBZ video.) and after that there seemed to be a really really long delay in making more videos. It was only because, I died a little on the inside due to the many problems I've been having for these past months. I promised back then that I was going to remake my older works at least by the end of the summer, but unfortunately and disappointedly that never happened. Why? As unreliable as my computer is, it crapped out on me. I can't even begin to count the number of times I had to reformat my hardrive throughout this time just to get it to work properly to my liking. Along that time I had almost given up on making AMV's, until inspiration and determination awakened me and after watching a couple of other great AMV's getting the credit they deserved, I wanted that spot as well. So with that, one last chance, I started getting to work once again.
