Trunks Hope was the brain child of Prince Majin Trunks, his personal fan site on all things he loved, which he ran around the time he was webmaster of Majin Planet and then later after moving on from Majin Planet.

The RPG

August 30, 2000. After participating in many rpg battles in AOL chatrooms and talking the idea over with my freinds for a few weeks, I finnal decided to create my own website. I signed up for a free account on freeyellow.com, spent hours playing around with there page builder and created Planet Vegeta RPG! I went threw many AOL chatrooms to recruit members for it and managed to get a decent amount. Threw playing the RPG and going threw many twisted storylines I got the name that I still go by today, Prince Majin Trunks. I kept updating the site, trying to figure out ways to get it like all these other great Dragonball websites I was seeing everywhere. I added information, and image gallery; other simple things like that. Eventualy I started playing around with graphics and learning HTML. Eventualy I met a girl who went by the name of "Bura" online and she helped me learn more html and fix of my site A LOT.

I continued to have freeyellow.com as a host for my site but I stoped using there page maker. Bura gave me a simple little tables layout and I was using that. I wrote a lot of content for the site, maid an image gallery, played around with graphics alittle bit, and over the chorse of the next few months I realy didnt do anything big with the site. It was around December that I started working hard on the site. Thats when it happend, I got my first affiliate request. I checked my e-mail one day and have an affiliation request from a trunks shrine known as "Gravity!" I was so excited that I of chorse excepted. I needed a good button for the site but didnt haven any, so the webmistress of the site created me my very first button in witch I still have today.

The site has been going good. I was still on Freeyellow.com but I had a much better looking layout, pretty decent content, a few music videos, and about 5 affiliates "Gravity, Saiyanime, DBZ Dreams, Saiyan Lookout, K.Anime" and everything on the site seemed to be going good.

I decided one day I would try my luck and ask a site that was pretty popular at that time to affiliate, Forgotten Anime. To my suprise he said yes. It appears that he saw some kind of potential in my site so thats why he agreeded to affiliate with me. Me and the webmaster became quit freinds, he even maid me a layout "that I never figured out how to code." I figured if won good site would affiliate with me then maybe another would; so I was searching threw Forgotten Animes affiliates and came acorst a site called Saiyans Ki. I asked him to affiliate and since he saw that I was affiliated with his good freind Forgotten Anime, he excepted.

So at this point I had two good affiliates and two new freinds, Ryan of Forgotten Anime and Trunkz "ParadizeCityz" of Saiyans Ki. Trunkz though decided it was about time for me to get off that crapy freeyellow.com server and got his host to host, Anime Spin, to host me. Had my first real host, got a good new layout, and everything started looking up for Trunks Hope.

It had been the end of a second school year now, it was now June. A lot of things had changed. I had brought Trunks Hope back and I decided it was time to try to be a bit more professional about the site so I got the site a domain name and a hosting package. The domain name was TrunksHope.com. Unfortunatly this only lasted threw July. One of my staff decided we needed full episodes and decided to upload them to the server, and this was something that wasnt alowed on that server. So in turn my site got shut down, and the hosting company had control over my domain so I could no longer use it. Trunks Hope was dead.

After searching around the community one day I came acorst a site called Saiyan Hope. I looked over the site and started thinking about contacting the webmaster to ask about the possibility of creating our own website team; a team like the SSS Elites or the BlackStars. Strangly enough Goten, the webmaster of Saiyan Hope, had the same idea. A week or so later Goten Instant messaged me and we got to talking. We agreed on creating the Hope team and agreed that I was to be the leader of it. The hope team honestly never grew past myself and Saiyan Hope; we recruited a few members but they didnt last long and myself and Saiyan Hope were the only sites in the team to even slightly make a name for ourselfs.

May of 2003, Trunks Hope was going great. I had good affiliates, great staff, a lot of good information. One day I got the offer for media hosting, the guy was offerning me a lot more space and bandwidth then Trunks Hope would need at the time. Also at the same time my favorite website, Majin Planet, was dieing. The webmaster had let the site die because they had no media host "Majin Planet is media based," and so I offered the hosting to the webmaster and he excepted. We both started talking and agreed that it was time for Majin Planet to come back to life and start to look like a modern site; Majin Planet is an old site and it was easy to tell that by looking at it. So I moved Majin Planet to my server, the webmaster was busy with college and work so I kept getting more responsibilitys with the site. In the end I decided to close Trunks Hope so I could focus 100% on Majin Planet and I eventualy became webmaster of Majin Planet. The site Trunks Hope was dead but its spirit carried on with Majin Planet.

This is something that has been in the works for a good long while now... the return of Trunks Hope. Majin Planet isn't my site anymore, its been given away to Darth Unrivaled and hes been running it for a good year + at this point.. theres no place for me there anymore. However Trunks Hope is something thats been entirly mine since its inception... its where I started.. and it is home. This time around its not purly anime based however but will feature pretty much any forum of entertainment I want to showcase.
