I’ve always been a sucker for epic storytelling in everything I do, this season of Game Night which started off and was supposed to be a semi-weekly live game show where each show featured one of the board games and card games we played. It was billed as Saturday Night Wars.
All of this came from the idea of running weekly event contests on Majin Planet and following them up WWF style with a Pay-Pre-View like Event. This was where AMV Raw and Graphic Wars started, this is what lead contests from Majin Planet’s past like Saiyan’s Duel, King of the Hill and Fight Club to become events.
In their past states they where Music Video Contests that Majin Planet held. A matter of which will be returning as such in 2018 for Majin Planet’s 19th Birthday party. This is where in part officially Season 2 of Game Night starts and I hope even with my move coming this year to Florida (yes it’s official) that Season 3 of Game Night will still be a thing.
Magic and Demons
So what is the season of Game Night all about?
The idea came from the fact that I now have the weekends off, thanks to me moving out of state this summer, my job has already hired my replacement and over waiting until mid-July when I’ll be leaving they needed to move me someplace until then. Lucky me its the best of all worlds and sort of makes me feel bad.
As such, I’m not only now open to weekends off, but I’m also getting off earlier in the day that I can hit prime time stream waves. Whether or not, I’m thinking Majin Planet will go viral by mid-summer in this case. In the latter, Magic is dealing with that I wanted to play Magic with friends on Friday, not to even talk about the fact I have an unopened box of Conspiracy I’ve sat on for like 5 months now.
Demons are just sort of a playoff, it sounded cool or maybe there will be something too it. The truth is, I’m looking to do them every other Friday stream. That doesn’t mean we won’t have something going down on Friday, it just won’t always be Magic and Demons. Granted things change, but as of right now the last show of Season 2 will be May 4th, hint hint.
While trying to blog again, I’ve sort of set myself up with 4 rules, 4 things that are my top must do until I move in July. Of course, there is my job, that will come first just because I have to work. That is until this all pays off.
- My Health. Let’s be real I’ve let it slip a bit, this includes cleaning and just overall taking care of myself.
- Blogging. I wanna write something every day, let it be Dragon Ball or not. Trust me I have a lot to talk about.
- Streaming. Again, I wanna stream at least 5 days a week. That is the goal and hopefully, I’ll be able to kick that off today at 5 PM CST.
- YouTube. Yes, I’m still in the YouTube game, but posting daily just seems like an issue for me. That is why I’ll have the weekends off from streaming. Unless it’s an event. Likely have 3-4 videos per week, seeing as how much backlog of unedited videos I have.
You can notice those are my top priorities going into my move. Sometime in May, my job will pick up and more or less will work more hours. This is also while Game Night will end at the start of May.
May will also be the month I start going into Shutdown mode, meaning I’ll start packing because I need to make some hard choices on what I want to take and what will be sold. Pretty much all my stuff in terms of furniture is going. What I can’t sell by Mid-June will just trash or donated. I’ve talked with friends about my bed and the idea of having a small truck and one of them driving it down with me.
Never been one for asking for help. Those who been around here know I like to do things myself. No matter how wrong I am.
Personally, my bed is something that needs to go. I’m pretty sure it’s hurting my back. But could just be me randomly moving my computer deck with three screens attached caused it too.
So that is the overall plan, Game Night will be 6 shows or episodes. Once I settle in my new place, things will get reformated as they need be. That is if I get to keep the hours I’m on now until then. Let’s hope because I really like these hours!
Don’t miss Season 2 of Game Night: Magic & Demons live on Twitch March 16th at 6 PM CST.
