I’ve been thinking for a long time about this, and well there are a million reasons why I love anime. The characters, the story, the art style, the action and the amazing music. Just a few things to name as to why, but there are some key focus points I want to talk about in why I love anime and I’m sure they are some reasons why you like it as well.
First I want to talk about the characters. Being a male, I do find the art style in terms how they design the female characters. Some of the are drawn really busty and sexy. What is creepy about that statement is they made females in some animes so hot looking, the perfect ten and then you find out they are only supposed to be 14 or younger.
What does this have to do with characters? It does with a lot, some of the strongest film characters can be really sexy drawn and be put in positions that would make the male mind (and some ladies) drop to the gutters. But we loved them because they are strong characters with amazing back-stories and goals. The same is true about male characters, the characters I love and look up too are characters like Goku, Kakashi and Domon Kasshu from G Gundam.
Amazing Art Style
I really love how the art style of anime has changed and grown over the years. Some animes as of late like Naruto have changed between art styles or at least in how well things are animated and that does get a bit annoying when episode to episode doesn’t match up. I remember watching Dragon Ball Z and Gundam and the animation flowed from episode to episode, the whole series had the same art style. Those shows generally had long runs or in the terms of Gundam each series had a short run.
Today animes like Naruto run so long, they change-up style to cut cost and we get episodes that are amazing in terms of story and art and ones that are so lacking, I wondered why they even bothered.
The Amazing Music
The music is down right amazing and I really love how they really go all out to make some amazing theme songs and combine with the art it really makes for some amazing work. American music openings for cartoons can be really catchy and have that pop music catch to it. Or however you want to put it, but Anime just as that epicness to it you don’t get anywhere else.
