A Bit of History
Majin Planet was created in 1999 as a Dragon Ball fan site built around fan-made music videos, fan art, and fan fiction.
In 2005, Darth Unrivaled, later known as Professor M and The Armadillo, took over and merged Majin Planet with Banshee Force, formerly XfireSystems, and Dragon Ball Final. By 2008, Majin Planet had evolved beyond Dragon Ball and AMVs into a broader entertainment fansite.
Majin Planet History
MajinMebs founded Majin Planet on December 13, 1999, as a Dragon Ball fan site focused on fan fiction, fan art, and anime music videos. By the early 2000s, the site had become part of the anime fan site scene, passing through the hands of Corrupted Avatar and Prince Majin Trunks.
Prince Majin Trunks helped push Majin Planet into its classic anime fan site era, expanding beyond Dragon Ball Z and promoting features like Fight Club and King of the Hill. In 2004, the site briefly became Samurai Spirit before returning to the Majin Planet name.
In 2005, Darth Unrivaled became the owner and webmaster of Majin Planet. A year later, his projects Banshee Force and Dragon Ball Final were folded into Majin Planet, helping shape the modern MajinPlanet.com.
Majin Planet has changed names, owners, platforms, and formats, but it has always stayed rooted in fandom, creativity, and entertainment.
