I’m a day late with my review of Naruto Manga 640, but you know I’m not writing these up for traffic or views. I write them because I love Naruto even know I use to hate it (something I’m going to be writing soon) but I will admit, it’s nice to have people read my content early on in the discussions. With that said, shall we get to this weeks chapter?

So Naruto Chapter 640 comes out and we’re left with what I pretty much figure was going to happen. That Obito was going to become the Sage of Six Paths. It makes sense and I like how Kishimoto kept Obito as the main threat because there was so much time spent on building him up. Everything has led to these last few chapters and Kishimoto did an amazing job with it. As I said in the few chapters before this, I would have believed that Obito’s character was being toss out and killed off.

I think the idea of Obito becoming this through first losing control was a really good idea and the action of the chapter was pretty awesome. I love how everyone, even the 4th had a hard time fighting him and the fact the Ten Tail Jinchuriki was going crazy was really awesome to see. In fact the way this chapter was drawn was 100% better than the last few in my opinion.

The big question I have and I’m sort of the big question I think a lot of people have. Rin. The big question I have anyways, was why is Rin so important to Obito? There has to be something more than he just had the hots for her and liked her. I mean it seems even know Obito has said it wasn’t because of Rin, that everything has been because of Rin.

I feel the biggest problem with the chapters was Rin, the idea that his master, his friends Kakashi being rip out of his memory, when the Ten Tails was taking over his mind, but once Rin came in.. he gains control of the Ten Tail? I just don’t really buy it to be honest plus why does Obito look like the Sage of Six Paths now? I don’t recall anything showing that who ever became the Ten Tail Jinchuriki would look like the Sage.

Another issue I’m having is Madara, what is he even doing? It seems the name was used as a tool of fear, but now that the real Madara has been reveal I don’t really see him doing anything.

The question now is what role does Madara have it this now. What about Sasuke and even Orochimaru role in all this? It was strange how Obito had a snake body for a moment, so leaves me wondering if Orochimaru has some sort of connection to the Sage. Overall it was an amazing chapter and I totally give it a 4 out of 5. A must read for any Naruto fan.
