Rise of the Beast True Villain, A Transformer Must Die

The Transformers franchise is gearing up for its latest installment, Rise of the Beast, and fans are eagerly waiting for more details on what to expect. With the release of some Studio Series toys, a teaser trailer, and a short TV spot, there has been a lot of speculation about the plot and the new characters. The big bad this time is the Terrorocons, with Scourge being the center of the threat. However, there is more than meets the eye with this setup.

In this article, we will explore the possibility of a true villain in the upcoming Transformers movie and discuss which Transformers may have to die in the process. We will examine the clues and analyze the trailers to make an educated guess about what we can expect from Rise of the Beast.

Transformers Rise of the Beast and the Terrorocons

The first thing to note is that Rise of the Beast is based on the story of Beast Wars, at least in terms of characters. However, there is a possibility that the film may take a page from the book of the War for Cybertron series. In this series, the G1 characters were taken on a different story that still leads them to Earth, but this time they are met with the Maximals and Predacons who have come from the past.

This could open up the possibility of time travel in the movie, with the Maximals and Terrorcons coming from a different future. This theory is further supported by the quote from Optimus Primal, telling Prime that he’ll face something that he has never faced before, both past and future.

However, the big question remains, who is the true villain in this movie?

The Possibility of Megatron or Nemesis Prime

Megatron has always been a formidable villain in the Transformers franchise, and the possibility of him being the main threat cannot be ruled out. The final part of the trailer shows a big battle, with both Primes coming at two foes. The Maximal leader is facing off against Scourge, while Prime is attacking someone, but there is no one there in the shot. This suggests that whoever he is facing has been removed from the trailer to avoid spoilers.

However, the possibility of Nemesis Prime being the true villain in this movie cannot be ruled out either. There are hints throughout the trailer that suggest that Nemesis Prime may be the real threat. For example, we see Mirage in the same kind of “protector” role that Bee was in the film and his solo film. What if Scourge kills him, and sets the timeline on another path?

Furthermore, the fact that Bumblebee is not featured as much in the trailer could be a hint that he may be killed off in the movie. The shot of him being stabbed by Scourge suggests that this may be a possibility.

The Importance of Bumblebee

Bumblebee has been the center of the Transformers franchise since 2007, and his importance cannot be overstated. However, the fact that he is not featured as much in the trailer could be an indication that something drastic may happen to him. Some fans think Bee just gets seriously damaged. They wouldn’t kill him off? However, the possibility of his death cannot be ruled out entirely.

This could be a bold move for the Transformers franchise, as Bumblebee’s death could pave the way for a new direction in the story. Furthermore, it could be used as a catalyst for the rise of new characters like Rodimus Prime in the follow-up.

Again because Bumblee and Hot Rod are friends, his death could lead him to become the fabled leader Rodimus Prime and face off against Nemesis Prime. This new future timeline could be a fresh take on the story in live action that I think is a must needed change.

The Rise of Nemesis Prime

If Nemesis Prime is the true villain in Rise of the Beast, it would be the first time a true Nemesis Prime is featured in the Transformers franchise. We got a version of it in The Last Knight. However, what if Nemesis Prime isn’t just a black version of the same Prime in the film? What if he’s an updated design of Prime from the Last Knight?

The story of The Last Knight could be used to set up the events in Rise of the Beast, with Prime being mind-controlled and transformed into the early-stage version of Nemesis Prime. What if, depending on if they defeat him, kill him, or simply defeat him to set up the next film? Nemesis Prime wins, and his victory leads to the Maximals and such now fighting the war as Nemesis Prime killed most of the Autobots off.

Conclusion: Speculation and Theories

In conclusion, the Transformers franchise is gearing up for an exciting addition with Rise of the Beast. While we may not know all the details about the plot and the characters, there is a lot of speculation and theories about what we can expect.

The possibility of time travel, the rise of Nemesis Prime, and the death of a significant character like Bumblebee, could set the stage for a new direction in the Transformers franchise. Only time will tell what will happen in Rise of the Beast, but one thing is for sure, it’s going to be an epic adventure for both old and new fans alike.
