The Asylum
I wanted to give everyone a clear update on why things have been quieter on my end. About a week ago I slipped and fell outside my place and injured my back. At first I didn’t think much of it, but by the next day I could barely stand. It has kept me out of work for almost two weeks now, and most of that time has been spent lying down and trying to move as little as possible. Today is the first day I’ve been able to sit at the computer without too much pain. I’m still not fully mobile, but I’m improving.
Because of all this, I haven't been able to produce new content the way I normally do. Majin Planet turns twenty six this weekend, and unfortunately everything I hoped to release for the occasion had to be put on hold. I’ve kept notes on my phone, but that’s been about the limit of what I could manage.
Now that I’m feeling a bit better, I want to share what’s coming next. Consider this Patch Note 26.1.1 for MajinPlanet.com.
Ultraman Arc
The entire series is recorded. I’ll spend the rest of the month fixing edits and posting episodes twice a week on the site. YouTube versions will continue to release Monday mornings on Majin Planet Reacts.
Majin Planet TV
The channel is moving away from traditional toy reviews. The last of the reviews I recorded will be released over the next week. Going forward the focus shifts to discussion based content about toys and shows. Expect weekly Prime Talk, weekly Prime Toys, and a new weekly series called Toku Heroes.
The reason is simple. I’m not collecting as heavily anymore and I can’t review everything. I also won’t accept toys from viewers for review. The risks, the shipping, and the responsibility aren’t worth it. Many toy lines in my collection are coming to a close anyway, and honestly the standard review format isn’t where my strengths are. I still have a lot to say about toys, just not in the usual review style.
Prime Talk
This remains a Transformers focused discussion series. No major changes.
Prime Toys
This will be a hybrid unboxing and shelf discussion format. Either I’ll be opening something new or pulling a figure off the shelf to talk about its place in my collection, why I bought it, how it’s held up, and whether I would replace it if a better version came along. No recommendation scores, just honest reflection.
Toku Heroes
A new series combining elements of Prime Talk and Prime Toys. It will cover toys and topics across Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, and Metal Heroes. Prime News will be folded into this.
The Majin Cast
Returns to weekly episodes next week with a refined format. New episodes will release mid week going forward.
Majin Planet Shorts Channel
A full rebrand is coming. The focus will be toy themed shorts, including transformation walkthroughs and fun clips. Expect three shorts per week.
Marvel Beyond TV
What started as an experiment in AI video production is shifting to a monthly, podcast style Marvel discussion series. I’ll be doing these myself rather than relying on AI tools as I did years ago.
New Content: Hunter Mastery
In 2026 I’ll be returning to my old gold making and hunter content from the HunterMastery.com days. Expect weekly videos and written content under the Hunter Mastery name here on MajinPlanet.com. The old domain will redirect to a new landing page soon.
I’m still recovering and won’t be back to full work until next week. Content will be lighter until I’m cleared. I also plan to begin streaming twice a week, one stream on Twitch focused on World of Warcraft and one stream on YouTube where I’ll be building or working with toys. Start dates depend on how fast my back heals.
