Hey guys, Professor Prime here! Sorry for the lack of updates this last week — I’ve been sick and trying to slow down a bit so I can focus on making each piece of content stand out more. You may have noticed some of these changes already, but as we advance, here’s what you can expect from the channel.

Of course, you can find all of this over on MajinPlanet.com — a lot of times, the content goes live there about a week before it hits YouTube.

Changes to Posting

New Toy Features will now go up every Tuesday and Thursday.

Prime Talk will drop on the first day of each month — I’ve completely reworked the show.

Godzilla Reactions will still take place once a month, typically on the last Sunday of the month.

Ultraman Reactions — if you want them here, let me know in the comments!

Otherwise, all regular Reactions are moving over to the new channel @MajinPlanet2 (Majin Planet Reacts), where we’ll be focusing on one series at a time, starting with Kamen Rider Gavv.

Don’t worry — if you want to see Omega, Gozyuger, or other shows, I’ll still be watching plenty over on MajinPlanet.com.

About MajinPlanet.com

For a long time, I’ve been doing all of this for free — hosting, editing, creating, maintaining the website — all out of pocket. I do it because I love it, not because it’s my job. Sure, I’ve made some money from ads in the past, but nothing major.

That said, I’ll be reworking some affiliate links and ads back onto the site — don’t worry, nothing crazy, just one or two per page. And only products or services I’ve personally used myself.

Why I Removed Paid Memberships

I had this mindset shift a while back — I don’t want people paying me just to watch me do what I love. That’s why I left the Twitch affiliate program years ago and never went back.

The same goes for Majin Planet. The Super 1 membership was a cool idea at the time, but the reality is, it didn’t fit the audience. You’ve shown me that most people here aren’t looking to pay for reactions — and that’s completely fine.

So as of today — well, about an hour ago — I disabled and removed Super 1 from the site completely.

All reactions are now 100% free, though they’ll be time-based versions. That means you’ll need your own copy to sync up with me — it’s the only legal way to do it. I know some creators show full episodes or movies on Patreon, but honestly, I have a gut feeling that by 2026, that’s going to change. A lot of those channels are going to lose their income or worse.

I’d rather stay within fair use and do it the right way.

Why You Still Need an Account

Simple — to keep out bots and spam. You don’t need to give me any personal info, just a username and email. Everything else is optional and totally under your control, mostly for the forums.

What’s Next

I’m planning to add a bunch of new features to MajinPlanet.com over time. Things like AMVs, which I can’t safely host on YouTube. Those will be off-site with no ads or affiliate links — just fan content, like the old days.

Of course, if I ever get a takedown request, I’ll respect it. It’s just the way things are now — the AMV scene isn’t what it was back in 2003.

Thanks again for all your support. This week’s content will be some older stuff since I’ve been sick and lost my voice, but I’m still here and planning for what’s next.

Stay tuned, and thank you for sticking with me through every change and every era of Majin Planet.

— Professor Prime
